What's absolutely HILARIOUS is that I had to put a warning in my NOW page about my #FOSS radicalization.
Because if you know me IRL but haven't been in touch for a few months, you'd be REALLY surprised about what I'm currently doing (aka EXTREMELY techie things).
To blunt the shock of the transition, I put a little section in there about my @pixelfed photo gallery, because even non-techie people would get that.

Before we left for preschool this morning, my 4-year-old stopped in front of the table where I left my #FOSDEM stickers. She perused them, picked one up and said "I'm giving this to M" (her best friend).
What did she pick?
"Make art, not billionaires".

Das Init-System Systemd ist gerade 15 Jahre alt geworden. In seiner Keynote auf der FOSDEM 25 spricht Entwickler Lennart Poettering über die anstehende Pläne.
And it’s a wrap for my first #FOSDEM - which was glorious.
It was incredibly inspiring and energizing to hang out and exchange ideas with so many Fediverse champions.

And it’s a wrap for my first (EPIC) day at #FOSDEM.
It’s hard to put into words how incredible - and energizing - it feels to be around the creators of the #ActivityPub protocol, founders of #Fediverse software, admins of popular instances and developers of tools I use every day.
I took the opportunity to thank them in person for their incredible work 😊
It’s also been amazing to finally meet IRL lots of cool people I had been corresponding with for months on the Fediverse.

And this makes it sad - really! As much as I love the #FOSDEM, you need to be a talk earlier in the room - this blocks space for people of the previous talk, kills the own schedule and is really annoying. For this reason I have not a single talk on my schedule and it’s just about socializing! Btw, haven’t seen you until now - or were you the guy next to Rodrigo this morning?
