Looking at the 10-liners that were entered, I am more convinced that
A) FastBasic is too modern , it's just an assembly loader. UGBasic seems OK?
B) I should be able to get my Atari PM sprite demo whipped into a game next year, it just takes some creative rewriting.
C) If nothing else, go back to my char graphics games, which are cheap but can be fun.
D) Snail Race may be the best game ever on C-64. Barcode Battle may be the best game ever on Spectrum.
Fernando Borretti on data interoperability then and now:
"Our data is more portable than ever, not just across space (e.g. if you use a Mac and a Linux machine) but across time."

My Easter treat has been to work on my silly hosted-at-home retro website. It now features actual content, animated GIFs, and photos of pineapples!
There's a few dynamic pages under cgi-bin, although they are not actually CGI scripts—they are generated by a Rust program. The dynamic content includes live energy stats, climate info, and memory & uptime info. I still want to fill out the content some more, but I also need to do other things.
If you are in the Atlanta area come by and say "hello" at the MIMMS Museum of Technology and Art. SDF will have a table during Tech-Splore April 26th from 10am-5pm and we’ll be demoing the PiDP-10 sn 0000 running an 8080 simulator with Altair BASIC as well as ITS and ways to access the various SDF's remote vintage systems. #retrocomputing #vintagecomputing
Listening to very old (up to 2011 currently) Open Apple podcasts, and they have a listener question I've asked for years:
Why is there so little public Apple ][ fan stuff and online material?
There's preserved stuff, a few emulators, people buying old machines & disks for $$$, but nothing like the many Atari & C= sites & rabid fandom.
The hosts blame it on numbers, but that didn't make sense, Apple sold more than Atari did, right?

In the early 1990s Texas Instruments PC Scheme for MS-DOS was my very first Lisp system. A few days ago I rediscovered and installed it on my Linux PC and you will believe what happened next.
